ITEM 2: This is an exceptional 1911 T205 Gold Border Fred Clarke Baseball Tobacco Card. This exceptional card features Hall of Famer, Fred Clarke of the Pittsburgh Nationals. Due to the dark gold border this issue is very prone to edge and border damage. This particular card is outstanding in that regard with just a touch of damage in the upper left corner. The back advertises for Sweet Caporal Cigarettes, baseball series of 400 designs. The card remains in EX-MT to NR-MT condition and has a very pleasing appearance. Price $450 |

ITEM 3: This is a fantastic 1912 T227 Honest Long Cut Ty Cobb Baseball Tobacco Card. The T227 Ty Cobb is many, many times more scarce than the T206 or T205 Ty Cobb. Simply because the cards from the entire T227 series were produced in much lower numbers. Some estimate there to be one hundred T206 Cobbs for every one T227 Cobb. In any event, this particular example grades in the fair to good range. The corners are rounded and their are a few areas of light creasing. That being mentioned, the card has a gorgeous appearance; brilliant color, and crisp resolution. A very pleasing example of this card which is impossible to find in high grade. SOLD |
