The maker of the jersey is unknown however, it is of very high quality and does have a cloth patch sewn into the collar which identifies the owner. ITEM 2: Incredible 1910's Spalding Quilted Basketball Shorts. These wonderful, antique basketball shorts are among the finest we have ever handled from this era. The shorts are very clean and feature the Spalding cloth patch sewn in at the inside of the waist. The padding is quilted into place at the hip area on both the right and left. This fine vintage basketball uniform includes a white, wool tank-top jersey and quilted basketball shorts complete with the original buckle strap at the waist. The tagging in the shorts is from Nueblings Sporting Goods which were located in Pennsylvania in the cities of Reading, Allentown, Pottstown and Pottsville. The condition is EX-MT. Price $200 |
