1930's Boxing Leather Helmet - Headgear

ITEM 1: This antique boxing helmet was made by the George A. Reach Sporting Goods Company. It is one of only a few that we have ever handled and by far the finest. To be considered extremely rare, this example is of the highest quality and the leather remains both pliable and supple. A fabulous item for the vintage sports memorabilia collector who is also an enthusiast of vintage boxing. The condition is solid EX-MT. An Outstanding example! SOLD

1930's Ken-Wel Leather Boxing Gloves Full Set

ITEM 2: Offered here is a full set, two pairs, of vintage 1930's leather boxing gloves. This is fabulous set of antique leather boxing gloves made by Ken-Wel Sporting Goods Company from Utica, New York. These gloves are constructed of two-tone maroon and light brown leather making for a stunning display! In addition, the leather is of very high quality and remains soft and supple. Both pairs are nicely marked on the cuff and each individual boxing glove retains its original lace. Really a wonderful set of vintage boxing gloves for the boxing enthusiast. The condition is solid NEAR MINT. SOLD

1942 Rittgers Figures - Boxing

ITEM 3: These are two of the Rittgers figures from a 3 piece boxing set. The missing figure is of a boxer throwing a straight punch which actually hits the referee instead of the ducking boxer. The Rittgers company produced many different sports sets in this chalkware or plaster composition. Other sports sets include baseball, football, basketball and several of the minor sports as well. In this particular set, the “ducking boxer” is in EX-MT condition and the “referee getting hit” remains NEAR MINT. Price for both $195

Early 1900's Suede Leather Medicine Ball

ITEM 4: This is a wonderful early 1900's suede leather medicine ball. Perhaps the finest that we have ever handled in both quality and appearance. This beautiful relic is somewhat larger than a basketball and weighs 10 pounds! The stitching remains in flawless condition and what is especially nice is that it maintains its spherical form ideally. Outstanding! Price $350

1920’s Reach Boxing Gloves

ITEM 5: 1920’s Reach Boxing Gloves. This is a phenomenal pair of Reach model 3M Boxing gloves. These antique boxing gloves are of the highest quality and are complete with the original ties for each glove. The A. J. Reach Sporting Goods Company was one of the leading sporting goods manufacturers during this time. The leather remains as soft and supple as the day they were made resulting in a condition grade of NR-MT to MINT. Price $225
