Vintage 1900 Cornell Football Murad Tobacco Felt Rug B 33

Offered in the early 1910's, these B33 felts were premiums issued by Murad cigarettes to encourage smokers to buy their brand of cigarettes. This felt is from the series designated as B33, and they are tougher to find than the S22 silks, also issued by murad cigarettes. The felt measures approximately 3" by 5". Each of the colleges or universities represented in this set have 10 different sports depicted - track, swimming, basketball, hurdling, fencing, baseball, football, tennis, hockey and rowing. Each felt shows the athlete wearing school colors with the college seal in one of the corners. Condition is NR-MT!
