This is a very ornate Press Pass Ribbon from the Philadelphia Cycle Carnival that took place on July 14, 1896. Certainly a very scarce vintage cycling collectible. This beautiful ribbon features a red, white and blue bowtie at the top with three tassels at the bottom, a metal one at center flanked by two cloth tassels. It measures an impressive 8 inches long and reads: PRESS – This Badge Entitles Wearer to Place in any Part of Line – THE EVENING TELEGRAPH – Cycle Carnival – PHILADELPHIA, PA. – July 14, 1896.
