This is an AWESOME 1910's Spalding No. H Leather Football Helmet. This scarce helmet design was referred to as Spalding's Harvard-Style helmet. It seems to be an unusual combination of a rain-cap style helmet and a flat-top. The exterior is all black leather which remains in excellent condition, with note not a few areas of imperfection. The interior is of brown leather. This vintage football helmet was made of high quality leather and the helmet as a whole is quite is substantial for the era. This fantastic, antique football helmet remains in excellent condition and is a true rarity!
