Here we are offering the finest vintage track and field - shot put trophy that we have handled. This is a very unusual piece. The image of the shot put athlete is nicely detailed, as is the rest of the trophy. The silver work around the top and bottom of the trophy cup is exceptional. The only marking is on the bottom. There is a stamp of the letters MIUS, inside an oval. I'm not familiar with the maker but the piece was extremely well made! It stands just under 7 inches tall and makes for an awesome display piece. The condition is solid EX-MT.
