1916 Ivy League Imperial Tobacco Humidor
It is hard to imagine such esteemed institutes as those of the Ivy League encouraging the use of tobacco products today, but such was not always the case as evidenced by this century-old item. This 1916 Imperial Tobacco Ivy League Stoneware Humidor Cube Cut Jar bears the pennants of the four Ivy League schools of the time on front: Yale, Harvard, Cornell and Princeton. The back has the words "Imperial CUBE CUT," and it stands 7" tall and is 5.5" in diameter without the separate lid, which has the year "1916" encircled on the top. The jar is in Excellent, clean condition, no chips or cracks, with some wear to the gold leaf around the edge of the lid. Please call directly with any questions or concerns.
