1925 - 1931 Red Grange Football Pants - Extremely Rare
Out of stock
Here we are offering an exceptional pair of Red Grange endorsed football pants. These pants were made by the Wilson-Western Sporting Goods Company. Wilson Sporting Goods went by the Wilson-Western name during the years of 1925 to 1931. Interestingly, Red Grange started his NFL career with the Chicago Bears in 1925. Of course the Galloping Ghost proved his worth playing college football for the University of Illinois in the previous years. Grange is an icon for college and NFL football. Wilson created these high quality football pants in the style of those worn by Grange. The pants are identified with a huge cloth patch (2.5” x 3”) that includes the Red Grange endorsement over top his famous number 77. After 30 years of business, this is the first pair we have ever encountered. The pants include the original leather belt and remain in solid NR-MT condition. A rare addition to any vintage football collection!
