1930’s University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football in Box

Offered here is a wonderful 1930’s University of Alabama coach Frank Thomas, endorsed football with original picture box. The manufacturer of the football is unknown, which is odd because of the high quality football and ornate box. This fine vintage football is entitled “The Crimson Tide Football” as indicted on the box which shows three images of Frank Thomas, the coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team. The box reads, "The Crimson Tide Football - Endorsed by Frank Thomas - Head Football Coach of the University of Alabama.... The Crimson Tide football teams have played in the California Rose Bowl six times in the last nine years - won five and tied one..." A must have item for the Alabama Crimson Tide collector!
