Here we are offering a Game Used, Notre Dame Leather Football Helmet. This very scarce helmet was game used by the Notre Dame Football team in the 1940's. This antique football helmet is a MacGregor H612, which was the top of the line helmet for this era. The Macgregor helmets were used by many of the leading football colleges, and Notre Dame used them exclusively for many seasons. The colors are from the factory, this helmet was NOT painted, it was made at the factory for the use by the university. The quality of this vintage football helmet is top of the line, as expected. The helmet remains is solid EX-MT condition.
