Outstanding Football Noseguard with Rare Detachable Mouthpiece

Here we are offering an exceptional vintage football noseguard with a rare, detachable mouthpiece. This is an exceptional noseguard for several reasons. This is not a typical noseguard, this example features the rare detachable mouthpiece and also an extended portion to protect the chin. These features were an improvement to the original and carry the patent number and date of May 18, 1905, embossed on the inside of the noseguard. The original patent number and date of September 20, 1891 are also embossed on the inside of the noseguard. Additionally, the noseguard is complete with the original strap, and the overall condition is EX-MT. A true rarity and fantastic item for the vintage football collector!
