Offered here is a vintage Cincinnati Basketball Jersey that was produced by the Spalding sporting goods company in the 1920’s. If you’re looking at the images and wondering why this is a Cincinnati basketball jersey, you need to read it from right to left. The sewn on felt lettering on the front of the jersey spells Itannicnic, which is Cincinnati spelled backwards! Quite a novel jersey, but no understanding as to why. All in all it’s an exceptional example of a 1920’s basketball jersey that remains in solid EX-MT condition. Please call directly with any questions or concerns.
