This uncommon vintage baseball was made by the Rawlings sporting goods company - “Manufacturers of High Grade Athletic Goods - St. Louis, USA.” as indicated on the circle around the popular Rawlings shield logo. The baseball remains in NR-MT unused condition and is actually very clean and white, it appears somewhat dirty in the pics - it is not. The model is “Special League” as indicated in stylized font typical of this era or perhaps a decade earlier. A great antique baseball to add to your vintage baseball collection.
