Unused 1910’s Draper & Maynard Green & Red Stitched Official League Baseball
Here we have a spectacular Unused 1910’s Draper & Maynard “Official League” Baseball, a true gem from the golden age of the deadball era. This remarkable example has survived in unused condition, making it an extraordinary time capsule of early 20th-century baseball craftsmanship.
The ball features beautifully preserved white horsehide covers with striking green and red hand stitching, a scarce and visually captivating color combination that immediately sets it apart from standard red-stitched examples. The surface shows virtually no toning, wear, or handling — a rare sight for a baseball now well over a century old.
Stamped crisply across the sweet spot is the bold “Official League Ball” marking, accompanied by the famous D&M dog logo, still sharp, dark, and fully legible. The seams are tight and the ball retains excellent factory form and firmness.
This green and red stitched D&M Official League baseball would stand proudly as a centerpiece in any collection of vintage baseballs or deadball-era memorabilia. Please call directly or email coreyleiby@comcast.net with any questions or concerns.
